June 28th, 2011The John Mahoney Big Band specializes in original compositions and arrangements by John Mahoney demonstrating the highest levels of performance and improvisational skill.
The John Mahoney Big Band has performed widely in New Orleans, including appearances at the Contemporary Arts Center's "At the Solarium Series," the 2000 IAJE Conference, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival as well its primary performance venue – Snug Harbor, which is New Orleans' premiere jazz club.
